Before photography, knowledge was drawn by hand. Vellum & Ash returns to that archive — the great natural‑history engravings of the nineteenth century — and restores each plate line by line, re‑toned in ink, oxblood, and candle‑gold for the modern study.

Nothing here is licensed, borrowed, or generated to fill a wall. Every plate is drawn from the public record and our own hand — one palette, one type system, one design language, recognizable on sight.
